Volunteering general Information

You will be an essential link in the chain in an important on going assignment that is attacking the causes of poverty and hunger, the threats of early mortality and the dangers of exploitation including child sex slavery and you will also experience two different and diverse ancient cultures. Amazing and astounding things are happening in the children lives, because ordinary people are giving a tiny portion of their life and are sharing a little of their knowledge, time and/or money.

Living Cost Includes

• pickup and return transport too & from Chiang Rai airport.
• tribal mountain village style accommodation
• all the food, 3 meals a day
• filtered water
• transport for outings with tribal children
• that includes lunch for you and two children
• ice creams for you and two children
• elephant ride for you and two children (different outings on each trip)
• Special farewell diner with cultural dancing and singing

• Step 1. Have a meeting with 12 team members. Appoint a leader. Choose a Project to work on. See Project information.
• Step 2. Fill in the online volunteer application form a minimum of 21 days before your proposed departure with proposed dates, agree to conduct your self on this trip in an orderly way that will be beneficial to your team, CGT Inc. and the village tribal people and children.
• Step 3. Fill in the confirmation of arrival and departure dates and times a minimum of 14 days before your departure date.

Note: If we are notified by email a minimum of 10 days before your confirmed arrival date that you are sick or injured and wish to cancel the trip you will be given a voucher for another date or full refund.
